After battling Hodgkin's Lymphoma and six months of chemotherapy, I hope that no one will ever have to go through what I experienced. The reality is, young adults like me get diagnosed with cancer everyday, so the best thing we can do is always listen to them, be present, and help them feel safe and confident. This summer, I am volunteering with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to ensure that cancer patients and their families are always supported. I also plan to come back to Middlebury this fall and volunteer at our Relay for Life event. I'm looking forward to living the rest of my life as a proud survivor!
